New PT422

Hello everyone Just recieved my 422 today already love it learned alot about it reading this forum got the mini hoe, boom lift and small bucket with teeth.
moved some black walnut logs without any problems. some of the big ones had the rear tires bouncing of the ground!
but it still moved them to where I wanted, did I say I love it yet /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. The only thing is the exhaust gets to ya after awhile. later all /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Welcome to TBN and the family of PT owners. Will be anxious to hear how you like the attachments such as the mini hoe.
I'm in the midst of a major digging project with my mini hoe and so far it has far exceeded my expectations.

Southeast corner of Pennsylvania right above Wilmington Delaware So far I used the mini hoe to move small black walnut about logs 8 ft. long and 10 inches in diam, for the big 30 inch diam ones I used the boom lift they were only 3 to 4 ft. long used the small bucket to move some dirt piles they all worked great shore is a back saver /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Welcome aboard.
If you haven't already gotten a set, I recommend the skidding tongs from Northern. They're pretty cheap. When you put them on the lifting boom, it saves a lot of chain work to hook to logs. I've used them to put one end of a log on a trailer, then hook to the other end and slide it on, even where the log was way too big to pick up .
