Thanks John,
I'll get some shots of it in a few days to put here. The loader and backhoe are I guess what you could say are made in house. The are made by Sioux Tractor and Sweeprake Co. but from what I under stand it is a company owned by AGCO now and was owned by MF for years. I have gotten this information round and about. It's not posted any where that I know of. BTW the power shuttle is great, just use the clutch to take off and for get about it unless you are pulling hard. You can change direction without the clutch also. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Its a nice tractor. I couldn't really tell from the picture, but it looks like you may have the quick attach kit (for pin type bucket) on the loader. That makes changing out implements a lot easier. I've really enjoyed my Massey and have about 36 hours on it now. The only problem that I've found is the lack of power curling the bucket up when loading. Plenty of downward power, with the cylinders "pushing". Mine also has a loud rattle in the loader frame, but the dealer says there's a fix by welding a shim to the frame to "tighten it up". You may not have this problem with the 1440 and 1466 loader, but they indicated it was a problem with several loader/tractor combinations. Looking forward to more pictures.

I do have the quick attach on the bucket. I hope to get some good use out of it. I haven't use it enough to know about the curl problem. I will be getting into some heavy lifting in the next week or so.
I have noticed some rattling from the QA bucket adapter. I have thought about maybe installing a piece of baler belting with 3M weatherstrip adhesive. I will have to look into it.
Do you have rear hydraulic remotes? My dealer didn't plan ahead very well with my mounting brackets. If you do could you post a picture of the mount?

THAT IS A NICE LOOKING TRACTOR! I have the Agco version, the ST 35. I have the same shuttle shift transmission. It works great. I found the tool box to be way to small so I replaced it with a bigger one. With the loader on I found that it is tricky to pour oil into the engine at oil change time. It is very easy on fuel, runs all day on 5 gallons. Overall it is a great machine. Enjoy the new member of your family!

I have plans on replacing the tool box also. At least they saw fit to make the brackets heavy enough to use for a real tool box. I just got rid of a MF 1250 and putting in engine oil was a pain but I just used a funnel with a hose on it from WM. I also have a PVC funnel that I made to put in hydraulic fluid, it works great and you don't have to hold the funnel.

I have dual rear remotes and will try to post a picture later today. I'm not sure I understand your problem with the mounting brackets? On my 1455v they are stacked vertically in one bracket to the right side of and above the PTO shaft. I use the top set for my top link and the lower set for tilt. The control is a joystick that I had them mount at the rear of the tractor just to the right of the tool box where I could reach it when hooking up an implement. I'm not familiar with the backhoe setup, and that may enter into how yours is set up too. I'll probably have to charge batteries to get pictures for you.
The tool box that came with the tractor wasn't even big enough for spare pins. I've replaced it also with a larger box but it's too flimsy to last long. Would appreciate some input if you find a source for a suitable box that is sturdy! And if I locate one I'll post. Thanks.

They must have put my remotes on after they took off the three point to install the backhoe. Because when I went to put the hitch back on, the top lift arms would strike the remotes. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I took the brackets off so I could use the lift. I wanted a picture of the factory brackets before I spoke to the dealer. They are going to have to do something else with them.
As far as the tool box, I going to replace the micro midget plastic thing with a surplus shell box. After I paint it red. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I've got my tractor up at a buddy's welding shop right now fabricating a hookup for pallet forks to the FEL arms. Should be finished today and will provide pictures of the remotes, etc. (I charged the camera batteries)
