How close are you to being done with all your current or planned projects? ;)
I need to install the new mini split heat pump yet, and wife's new washer and dryer. Then I'm going to enclose the front garage to make a wine room and knock out the old wash room to make a full bathroom out of hte first floor powder room. Then i'll be installing a new 2 car garage addition with a new master bedroom over top. I'll need to reconfigure the second floor hallway to make access.

Lady that wanted 2 dozen eggs texted me, she had 12 pumpkins for me. So I fired up the cart and met her at the driveway. Chickens will be eating good today!

Problem. My Hot water return crosses over the removable air filter. So either I find a longer flexible hose or I need to replumb it. The lines on there are 24" and I'm not seeing a FIP to FIP 36" on HD's website. So it looks like I need to cut the line and route it back so the hose can go behind the filter.

I want to do it right and have it look nice. I am not a fan of flex lines to begin with, i feel like they're a point of failure.
Home Depot sells a stainless steel braided line that looks very adequate for the job. It sure simplified my last hot water tank install.

Edited to change the word "makes" to "sells".

Well that's done. I drained the water out of hte line, cut it, but every time i went to heat it up, more water came out. Had to resolder a few times. Now I can take the filter out.

New electric run. 25' of 10/2 is $100. I was 6" short to make it, so I had to put a junction box. I considered movign the tank 6" closer. I misplaced the screws for the electrical cover, and the ground screw is part of the electrical cover, so I can't run it without it being screwed d0own.
