You all need to get VP gas containers:

VP racing gas cans, VP racing fuel containers

They even have yellow!

Their "disclaimer" says it is not for use with street legal fuels...no problem, I run red!

Yeah, but Jegs has the same thing at about half the price. It is what I use (see previous post - #9).

Don't forget the $15 hose!

I linked direct to VP just so I didn't violate any advertising rules. If you search, you can find the full setups with hose cheaper.

gwdixon - I drill the hole for the valve & thread a home-built valve insertion tool onto the valve (metal valve cap with a length brass chain soldered to it), feed the small chain through the fill spout opening, turn can upside down & fish the chain out the small hole with a piece of bent wire, pull valve up through the hole. Remove core & you're done - looks factory!

I have read where others have added valve stems to their cans but never could figure out how to get the stem in from the inside of the can. Thanks Ken. I followed your lead and got two installed today. I used a cotter pin inserted in the valve tool, but otherwise followed your directions.

Works much better now.
