New Branson models coming very soon

A local guy who also has a relatively new Branson said he heard that there will be fuel injection in the new models.

I guess that means limp mode, def fluid, and tied to dealer service of the emissions related equipment and computer. I was hoping they wouldn't follow suit and continued on their own path.

Yep, I meant EFI.

DEF isn't needed for Tier 4 CUT emissions regs. Those are primarily about soot; DEF is for the SCR catalyst which reduces NOx.

Since there's no new emissions regs for this year I'd be surprised to see any manufacturers making a big change. But my friend was insistent that he heard it was coming.

.......aka electronic rather than mechanical. My mechanically injected 2007, non computerized, Tier 3 Cummins B 3.3 NA is rated at .047 gal/hp/hr......the hp is the hp actually being used at the time of the measurement.

If common rail, computer controlled, electronic injected engines are on tap, fuel efficiency should be like.....you run out of gas in the middle of the field one day because you fuel up so seldom, you just forgot about it. Grin

Ok, just got back from dealer meeting and it's late and I'm tired. Here's the ones I can talk about and I'm not going into detail about or for now anyways.
1106 Branson. 110 hp awesome looking tractor. Looking at 2019 for productions.
4815 48 hp 15 series that will be available with a 72" mid mount mower.
2510: basically a 2400 on steroids, 3 speed hydro max transmission and a couple differences. All new loaders with more lift capacity and an option of a ssqa on the 2400/2510 Tractors. Ok there you have it, there's more coming but this is it for mow. Goodnight.
