I am sure that Pearly would enjoy following me when I am bush-hogging, but I am afraid that she would spot a rabbit and dart in front of the tractor before I could stop. I keep her in her fenced-in lot during that task.

Yep, totally understand that. Willard is a farm dog. He understands wheeled vehicles very well. My good friend's dog does not. We don't let her hang around when we are running equipment.
