Kubota B26
Just completed the purchase from a local dealer today. The B26 has the standard features plus backhoe thumb attachment. Agreed to purchase price is 28K. Anxious to fill up that empty space in my barn caused by the departure of my faithful BX22 which is now in New Mexico serving a small orchard.

Pix to come!

Congratulations RichT. That will be my next one. I looked at one a couple weeks ago and fell in love. With the 0 percent interest, they just couldn't give much for my 07 L2800, so I ordered a BH75 backhoe and decided to keep it.
Keep us posted on how it performs. I'm sure I'm only 1 of many who would enjoy reading more about those great little working machines

Congratulation on your purchase.

Here in Canada, Montreal area, I got a quote for a New B26 at 35,000 $ CDN + taxes. So it looks like a very good price in Socal.

That was the tractor I would I would have liked, but purchased a 10 months old B2630.

Enjoy your new toy,

Martin :)

I have a B26, thinking about getting a BH thumb attachment.... how do you like yours?

I bought my B26 last summer and it's been great. I also have the thumb and although I don't use the thumb very much, it's really handy for gripping things like rocks or logs.

I did have one problem and that was a leak in the hydraulic hose going to the backhoe. A sharp rock has become wedged between the skid plate and the hose and gradually wore the hose down. The dealer told me they always replace the factory two ply hoses with four ply. It probably wouldn't have made a difference here but any new hoses I put on will be four ply.

The B26 is a great machine and I'm sure you'll love it.

Very handy to have...like said, won't use it that often but when you need to grip something heavy you'll be happy you have it. A few weeks ago I had a large tree (4ft radius trunk) cut down and used the thumb to load the 300-400lb cut segments.
