I have been looking at the new backhoes in the new 3000/4000 brochure. There is no shortage aof pictures of them. In the 4010 brochures there was maybe one backhoe pictured. I think there are six shots in the new book...
I haven't looked in the manual**, maybe I should. But, are the transport locks actuated by the two orange handeled levers at the console? That is a slick setup, if so... How many times have you gone to start using the hoe, only to have to climb back down and wiggle those pins free..
I assume the two levers directly behind the joysticks are the stabilizer controls. Can they be reached from the tractor's seat?
The new hoes are very robust looking. I doubt that many 47/48 owners will feel the need to trade up, as they are also great machines. But any that do should be pleasantly surprised by the subtle refinements.
The only other tidbit I have found is this:
A revised valve design reduces temperature rise during backhoe operation
**Edit: the manuals aren't online yet. They manual number falls in line with the 110tlb, though...
