New 2305 is on the way!

I didn't think you were knocking anything at all. I just read your "kicking some tires at my dealer this weekend" comment, and saw that you already own a well equipped 2210. So, I just wanted to make sure that my report didn't make you think that you needed to trade one for the other. The differences are evolutionary not revolutionary!

Any info yet on that 2305 cruise control, bought mine without it, now I'd like to have it. Will it be costly and difficult to put on? How complex is it? Anyone know how it works?

Love the tractor, drove them all, NH, Kaboota, etc.... like the deer much better.

by the way, I paid 13,600 for the tractor, 53" FEL, and 62" belly mower. Did I get hurt?

$13,600 is what I paid for my 2210 back in June with the same setup. They also threw in the ballast box and I -match hitch. Should be a little bit less in price then a 2210 from what JD has been quoting. But like JDFAN said, it's new and you’re not going to see much of a break yet till things get rolling. But that's still not bad.

thanks guys, I finally gave in today an got it dirty! Mowed like a dream. Compared to my 42" craftsman, it cut my lawn in about 1/3~1/2 the amount of time, amazing!

Any news on the cruise control?

Blue Ridge Dave,

Our local dealer just received two JD 2305's and they look really nice. I think the extra power and nice styling will continue to make this a popular machine. As far as mechanicals go, I cannot tell a huge difference between these machines and the 2210, which is good to me. The 2210 was-is one of the most reliable and productive machines made by JD in some time. Good Luck!!!!
