NEED SOME PDQ HELP

I am not new LOL
For some reason I cant get my Hydro bucket connects to go together Friend told me it was the cold?
What the heck it going on?
This is My new 2520, and I have taken the bucket off a few time without a prob????
Any help is great thanks

You say you're not new, so maybe you already know some of this. It's too late now, but you should always move your hydraulic control lever back and forth and forward and back before you disconnect any implement to relieve the pressure in the implement hoses (This might be your problem). You should do this before connecting as well.

You need to use extreme caution when handling these connectors, because the hyraulic fluid may be under extreme pressure and when discharged from the couplings can penetrate or cut your skin.
Try moving your control lever through all positions to equalize the pressure on the tractor. I have had success with pushing the male end of the QD against the tractor frame or something hard so the pin in the center is depressed. Hydraulic fluid WILL spray out, so don't get your hands in a position where the fluid (even if deflected) can hit you, and wear safety glasses.

Please be careful. In fact, before you do anything, wait for some other responses to see if anyone has better or safer advice on how to proceed.

BTW, I assume that you do know that you need to pull the collars back on the QD's in order to plug the hoses in.

I will add only this...if hydraulic fluid penetrates the skin surgery is absolutely required or gang green will set in. Wear heavy shirt and gloves and eye protection as well...it is dangerous stuff.

This is a quite frequent problem. Pressure builds in the hose for two reason's:

1-The implement sits in the sun and the fluid expands
2-The implement settles a little bit after you remove it and compresses the cylinders slightly.

The best answer is Chipsndust's-BUT-place a rag over the QD nipple to absorb the fluid. If the pressure is really high you can use a brass hammer to hit the poppets. Or you can take two wrench's and lossen the QD till the pressure bleeds off. The rag is key here no mater what the method used.

Chips, Yes I practice relieving the pressure.
I think my issue was temp related I had to loosen some of the hose work nuts on the bucket and let a little fluid out. I tried just one , but had to do three by the time I was able to reconnect all four, No more leaving the bucket outside the barn thanks again everyone for the responses
