Hi Guys.
I am wanting to buy a Kubota tractor and not sure what model would be best? My uncle is selling his " 2009 B2630 with loader and heated cab"with about 600hrs on it. Its in very nice shape and uncle Cliffie is pretty good at doing maintenance on his stuff. He had a 73hp Kubota for about 15 + years. He had good luck with it. They have sold the family homestead and moved to town( He's fighting the big " C " but he is winning). I want to put a 90"QH Kubota blade for snow on it ,5'snow blower and a 72" finish mower. I am pretty sure the B-2630 will handle these attachments. If I am wrong do please let me know. He is asking $18000.oo for the tractor/loader. Is this a little rich or the going price. I will post a pick of tractor.

Thanks Guys for any help that is given !!

Troy.

Kubota publishes an implement guide in every manual, for all its tractors.
That data sheet would be where I would start before assuming I could run this blower or that blade, etc. Kubota still has that tractor on its website here:http://www.kubota.com/product/B2630/B2630.aspx

Look at the size of the implements Kubota recommends.

As for the price, do yourself a huge favor and shop at TractorHouse.com for a similarly equipped model. Be sure to deduct 10% from the "list" price stated, as very, very few tractors listed ever sell for their asking price. You need to be armed with this objective information.

Quickest way to upset a relative is to tell them what something is
worth to you .

Rumour has it the B26/3030 are running out with $1000 Dealer
cash extra .......
That makes a new one ( without whatever that cab is worth to you ... )
$21.5k - 15% -1K , plus tax ( which maynot have been applicable
on the original sale ) . That's $17300 plus tax and cab .
He's not going to sell it for what the Dealer would offer (less
than k10 with 600hrs in 100 weeks ) , but this is for
your consideration . Personally , pass . I don't buy from
relatives :D

Price a B3030factorycab with FEL . I'd be real interested what Neil Messick
or Barlow could do this for . And then consider 60 month 0% & no deposit
finance on a all new orange.

Here's another attempt to assist you in your decision. A Kubota B2630 only has 19.5 PTO HP. I, for one, do not think that this model would have the sufficient HP to utilize the attachments that you mentioned in your question. I own a Kuboto L4400 and can testify that Kubota products are well made. But there are several other manufacturers out there that make excellent machines also. I also agree with the other member's comment in regards in dealing with relatives. I am against it too. But that is your decision, and yours only. Good luck and Happy Tractoring.:tractor:

Like bp said, the best source would be the manual. My 2920 (next frame size down, with 29 HP) will only handle a 50" snowblower and a 60" blade (I think).

A new B2920 with FEL with cash rebate is about $17,000,,,,I think $13k is fair for that tractor, $15k maybe

BTW,,I agree with Orangerider about not buying from relatives,,,especially sick ones , when he gets better, he'll either think you took him or that you owe him,,the same with his immediate relatives after the services.

You can get ZERO FINANCING, like I said you can get that similar tractor for about $17k without the cab, brandy new,,,,,and I can tell you , that after buying every tractor I have ever owned used that getting a new Kubota will make your year

Not to pick a fight, but to highlight the need for sensitivity in such matters, I think this statement would be better left out, whether it's true or not:

"...the same with his immediate relatives after the services."

Kind of harsh, IMHO, depending upon the degree of closeness of the relatives.

Just my .02--no offense intended.

Best of luck to the OP's uncle, for a speedy, and permanganate, recovery. (I knocked on REAL wood for him, three times--others may wish to emulate this addmittedly-superstitiuous behavior, or not.)

Best wishes,

My Hoe

Off-topic: since when do B2630's come with CABS--even as an option? And I keep thinking the model number visible is a B3030--or is it the Heinikins talkin'?

Best of luck to the OP's uncle, for a speedy, and permanent, recovery. (I knocked on REAL wood for him, three times--others may wish to emulate this addmittedly-superstitious behavior, or not.)

As a point of reference, I found a 2010 b 2320 on tractor house for 11K ... With loader and r4 tires.... Best part; the tractor had 2 hours on it. Look around before you help your relative

The tractor in quesiton is a much larger platform 2630 not the 2X20 series.

I also agree that with the financing today (0% etc) its hard to purchase used - I would call Brady Barlow and get a proposal on new and compare.

Fred;

63" blower for b2920...

51" max for b2620
