I just had a limb wedge up against my foot throttl bracket. it caused my cable to open the throttle. The tractor just shut off immediately. I repaired the bracket and the throttle cable is in the idle position but I can't get the tractor to start. It is turning over just fine it just won't start. I have plenty of fuel in the tank. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hello Colorblind, Where did this limb hit your tractor, from underneath or on top of the floor board? Matt

Check that the fuel cutoff solenoid is working and that the manual fuel cut off cable did not get pulled somehow.

It is the manual transmission. The limb hit underneath. There is a small bracket that the throttle cable attaches to that bent just enough to extend the cable some. I bent the bracket back where it is suppose to be at and both throttle cables are fine and in the idle position. I am not sure that I didn't get some bad diesel fuel I had filled up about 20 minutes prior to the incident. thanks /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Also check to see if the cable on the "kill pull" got pulled on. That's the red knob below where the key goes for cutting off the fuel solenoid for an emergency cut off. If that got bent, it could be keeping the tractor from starting.
