Good evening.

I have a 2013 DK 55 that was running fine and then just shut off. Fuel level is 1/4 full, swapped fuel filters and i'm having the same issue.

It turns over and starts to run but shuts off less than 3 seconds later. Throttling up doesn't change anything.

Things i know
Fuel filter is brand new, changed today after the issue began
Manual pumping the primer on top the fuel filter doesn't change anything, primer never gets stiff.
No obvious leaks anywhere. No diesel smells indicating leaking.

Next steps...

Test lift pump by removing the output line between the lift pump and the fuel filter and see if i'm getting flow. If no flow i believe next step would be to replace lift pump?

Clogged filter/line is possibility. Maybe cracked/leaking/punctured line that i've not found yet?

How does one check the pickup screen on these tractors in the fuel tank?

Have you checked your fuel cutout valve? Sounds like the open relay is allowing fuel while cranking then the hold relay may not be holding the valve open and fuel not flowing.

Where is this located ? I ordered a lift pump. Theyre cheap. Wil do some more diagnostics when its not 33 degrees and raining.

I think #16, but I believe it is controlled by relays. This is from Michigan Iron's on line parts. The relays are probably on the firewall.
I'm sure there's others here that have this tractor and can be more help.

Not entirely sure what the ultimate *** was but I replaced the lift pump and the filter. Found that the filter drain cap had some micro cracks in it. Replaced that. Lots of bleeding and we seem to be good to go now. Just need to sort out why my tachometer doesn't read. But she runs.
