Need help with drive system on old hay elevator

Purchased an old elevator in fair condition. It doesn't appear to be used much and looks like it was driven by chain. This weekend I will start to fabricate a motor mount and pulley system for it. I'm thinking to do the same as hogheadCTD with his elevator (link below), only I don't know the manufacture.

Any advice on what or what not to do? Thanks in advance jg

You may have to jury rig something - is there a manufacturer plate somewhere on it?

There isn't a name plate on it. After some thought I have plan to mount the motor. I'll post some pics along the way.
