All you build it yourself guys?.I inherited some thin wall pipe. What can I build/do with the larger pipes in this picture. I have already banded three together and made a culvert out of them, but being thin wall, 5 inches in diameter, just not sure what project would work. They are 14 foot long.

Would cut some down to 2" or 3'. If you ever need to roll something heavy a short distance - you can put 2,3,4, or 5 pieces six or twelve inches apart, parallel and move item over them - rollers.

If you need a new mail box post - cut to height and fill with concrete... before mounting box.

What is the wall thickness? It looks like 1/8" or so. That will be quite stout for use as posts or structural members.

Weld 2 together and make a 28' tower for a windmill. Use the 2 remaining for the well pipe. Maybe just an ornament, but it adds some class. Yes you will have to buy or make a fan and gearbox, but hey, this is America !

Craiglist it, take the money and buy other steel for other projects or trade it for other types of steel

Or just stock it till you have a use. I always find a use for something after I get rid of it LOL

I was just thinking that I need a piece of 5" pipe for the rear roller for a mower I want to make.

It would make a great cross tube piece between the loader arms, if you were building a loader.:D

It would make great jack stands or material stands for the chop saw or cut off saw. Or even some heavy duty saw horses.

Legs for a welding table or stand for a grinder.

Rack for metal/wood storage--Even firewood racks.

Boy I just cannot think of a thing that YOU can use it for.:D:D

I was thinking tube bumpers for 4x4 (they make great onboard air tanks too)

But with the distruction of my wooden sawhorses yesterday I vote for
MJPetersen's idea of heavy duty sawhorses. I wish you were close to me.:(

LOL .... that IS what I've been doing. And I have cut up a couple of them for odds/ends of things.

The wall of the pipe is 1/8 inch. 4ft into the ground leaves me 10ft in the air. I wish they was 2ft longer...but I'm thinking on that.

Is that pipe stanless steel. If it is I would check with a supplyer. They may offer to buy it back if it has not been used. SS is a high doller item.

Use the pipe and an old truck wheel to make a stand for a vice, grinder, etc.
