I have a 1974 mf20 industrial with the Perkins diesel. Was wondering what size box blade you all would recommend for that size tractor. I will be using it primarily to spread top soil but will occasionally want to use the teeth to tear up the ground. Was wanting to run a 6' blade if I could.

I think you will be fine with that 6 footer. I use a 6' with my Massey Ferguson 230 which has less power (38hp).

Tractordata lists your machine at 77.5" wide, so you need a 7' to cover your tracks. Lists at 42 HP with Perkins, so should pull the 7 footer, and you have plenty of weight for traction.

Thanks for the info. I think running a 7' blade would be optimal.
