My NX6010

Yeah, I was thinking that's the info you were after. It'd like to have see more details also. I will say this the " owners " Manual does have a complete parts break down and part numbers through out the back for the entire loader.

Kapper, we've both been on this planet long enough to know that unless the dealer has a ready way to remedy the problem, no matter how often or what the problem may well be, the standard dealer issue response to any concern is, "Really, I've never heard of that problem before!"

When I hear that statement I usually tell them straight out to never lie to a customer and walk away. This past year when I was shopping the only dealers that tried to sidestep or outright deny they had ever heard of a problem was one Kubota and one JD dealer. All others were straight out honest about my questions concerning the equipment I was looking at when I asked about known reported problems or things that were disliked about a particular machine based on others reports.

One salesman a multi brand dealer actually pointed out things He felt I might not like in certain models based on our conversation over the phone before I actually got to his lot. He was spot on with his observations and earned my respect as he didn't sugar coat anything and it would have been a pleasure to buy from him if I hadn't found the Kioti to be a better tractor. For his honesty and patients I have recommended a few folks that were in the market for a new machine to start their search with him and I know one of them actually purchased their shinny new Kubota from him and is very happy with it.

I haven't seen the weight of the KL6010 loader. Anybody know this info?

I'm guessing 1200 pounds, but I do not really know.

Kioti must presume that nobody will ever trailer their loaders where knowing the weight could matter.

Doesn't it say? For mine right in the manual it list the bucket weight and attachment weight. I think it's about 500lbs for me. I'd be surprised if the weights aren't listed in the manual with the other specs. If there not, there is always the service manual, which might give you the frame weight, and the weight of a SSQA 72" bucket has got to be floating around somewhere.

Well picked up my NX5510 from dealer the loader control internals in the bulkhead ripped out!! From the cable??? They have no explanation they ordered all new parts cables hardware and handle there gonna rebuild it all new! They fixed it for temporary use u til parts come in in 2 weeks! Also the calibration was fine no stored codes Eric? They felt there was to much air in tires and felt the machine was bouncing to much? Lo and behold I drove it home 2 miles from the dealer in high gear and the "CAL" calibration light didn't come on nor did machine stop!! I used machine for 2 hours around the farm and no issues there as well??? I had the 50 & 100 hour service done while it was there as that was part of the deal I negotiated free service up until 400 hours so all the first fluids and filters are free!!! (Not bad considering they gave me the machine for $33000 with rear wiper and two sets of remotes!!) so now that the break in service is done I'm haveing the tires liquid filled!! My local tire service shop that specializes in farm tires as well will fill all 4 tires in or outside of tubes for $350! So I'll proba have them put tubes in to keep any corrosion off rims long term!
Really surprised on the loader handle ripping the cables out! Oh yea they made an adjustment on the HST shifter now it drops into any of the 5 settings smoothly "L-N-M-N-H" so let's see how long that lasts as my CK35 kioti had to be adjusted every 75-100 hours

Kapper asked me what to do about a nannying feature on his new NX series tractor, and by his asking, he reminded me of the very first modification I did to my NX series tractor but had forgotten about. This modification is only a suggestion and should only be considered by those NX Series owners willing to better enjoy the thrills of living out a life of danger.

That's probably the first thing I did to my Massey too ... Though I just zip tied the switch (it was a flip style contact switch)

I used a length of 0.032" stainless safety wire with the ends filed to fit and wrapped with electrical tape to jumper my terminals. If it can hold airplanes and racing stuff together, it'll do for the tractor too.

Why do you want to do away with the PTO safety switch?

Why do you want to do away with the PTO safety switch?

Not the PTO safety, the seat safety. An NX series shuts itself off if in gear and the driver gets up, even if the e brake is set.

To run the PTO while not on the tractor! I warm mine up in the winter by running the PTO. There's a hundred other reasons you might want to run the PTO without sitting in the seat. Thankfully they didn't add a safety to the DK series.

It is not the pto switch that I want to change, rather it is the silly engine switch. You cannot get out of your tractor and leave it idle, unless A) you switch to neutral AND B) you set the parking brake. Anyone who has done any kind of tractor work when you have to get in and out for any reason can testify to this. I simply would like to be able to leave it in gear and idle and get in/out of the tractor without it being killed! A tractor is not like a car that if you leave in gear it will creep away :). I ALWAYS leave my John Deere in gear and get in/out with it running. As a matter of fact, if it is on level ground I won't even set the parking brake. But on any type of incline I set the brake. But I don't have to constantly switch it into neutral to leave it idle. By removing the seat switch it should allow me to keep it in gear and idle while I get out to move a small branch, rock, to pee, to get some water, etc....

If the DK series doesnt need one (and it doesn't have it) Then why does the NX series need it?

I was told Real tractors don't have seat switches.:D
