Very nice. Should be especially good for clean-up and maintenance of the beachfront at the lake.

It is amazing the work they can do. I agree with Island on being careful about what you snag. I've used a six-foot, lighter-tined model for years on my little B2150. Only around 2800 lbs with FEL and loaded tires, and I've bent tines. They can be straightened, and replaced if necessary, but they are spring steel.

Look forward to a video.

We have been running a 7foot land pride non hydraulic model and it does a great job. Like most things, my wife likes to stress test the implements. So far so good.

If you want those times to stay straight, be careful using it in land clearing. I've bent the crap out of mine accidentally snagging stumps and rocks. Even bent the frame.

I think rakes are great as finish tools to gently spread loam or gravel but keep it away from rough areas.

He's not gonna bend our frame!!

Well, this is Eric, so.......I hope he doesn't bend our frame.
It would take some serious effort!

Mine is a Woods SR 72. I've since straightened and reinforced the beam. My rake looks like it needs an orthodontist though as the tines have been bent every which way.

Maybe Michigan soil is more forgiving than rocky New England.

I've noticed two new noises. The first noise sounds like a working bearing (like running a wet finger on an empty wine glass) when standing outside with the engine running at idle. I will check the belt tension on the new alternator, and if that doesn't reveal anything, I guess I'll need to get out my stethoscope and listen to everything.

The second noise is noticed inside the cab off of idle to 2,000 rpm. It sounds like an engine nock, but the engine isn't knocking. I'm at a loss to explain it.

Meanwhile, I cleaned up the area around the dock today and moved the piles of wood on the island over to a winter burn site.

I popped out to the new parcel today with maintenance on my mind.

If anything both belts were a little slack. I tightened both. There belt noise is from a failing idler pullie. 300 hours is like 50,000 mile on a car for reference. I still have no idea what the second noise inside the cab off of idle to 2,000 rpm is. As I said, it sounds like an engine nock, but the engine isn't knocking and I'm at a loss to explain it. Everything is working fine, yet the noise is something new.

Making piles of straw jacking timber is hard on the blind front end. After taking the following photo, I took note of all the front end part I need to replace to renew the front end of my tractor.
An OEM grill insert should be made available as a factory option so as to prevent this type damage.
