100hrs is roughly equal to 3000 miles His tractor has 9,000 miles.
How do you figure that? An engine running at typical 2000-2200rpm in an auto would cruise at about 60mph. 300 hrs at 60 mph would equate to 18,000 miles.

I am going from what I have seen on vehicles that have an hour meter.

I guess there other ways of looking at it. You could say a car will last 300k miles and a CUT will last 6,000 hours so that would be an average of 50MPH.

Tractors and cars are used differently so it is tough to do a direct comparison. Something that may never wear out on a tractor may wear out on a car and vice versa.

Here is some reading on the subject:

The service interval on my Workmaster is 300 hours. I think some larger AG tractors use 600 hours. I'll average around 80 to 100 hours a year so I'll be servicing annually. I always figured 300 hours as 15K miles at 50 MPH average. Hard to break old habits of less frequent oil changes.

My Comanche and Mooney aircraft I changed the oil every 25 - 30 hours, but that was a half dozen round trips to Florida.

Most cars average between 25 and 45 MPH over their lifespan. (depending on how much city vs highway miles they have) My wife's 2005 Yukon has about 130k miles and around 3700 hours on the engine.

Hello ALL. Newer member reading everything and learning. An amazing group of regulars here with extreme knowledge. THANK YOU. I just purchased delivered today 2106 NX 4510 HST Cab with backhoe, 2 rear remotes. Also from EA wicked grapple, rear scraper, hd box blade and pallet forks. Have MIE hydraulic thumb on hoe and WR Long 3 rd function. AG tires. I am considered to be pretty good mechanically but am so DUMB in understanding electronics and hydraulics but learning hydraulics quickly. I have 3.1 hrs and mine shifts Hard into M gear.
I will post pics of all very soon.
Eric you are a guru and what you have been able to do with tractor is amazing. Tractors are made for working an I don't think you have abused your machine but it sure does take a lot of money to repair and know how.
I purchased my Kioti like others research research research led to my decision as best ROI.
I bought specifically for the next 3 big projects.
20x28 addition to house doing my own site prep and building.
36x56 garage shop ploe barn heated and insulated.
Build pond dam across 3 sided ravine with a natural spring 140 ft long 15 ft high 140 ft wide. Getting clay no problem have 36000 cu yds 120 ft away.
First need to clear ravine of some trees and 25 yrs of neglect.
I will need a 1 to 2 yd pull behind dirt scraper and fully know it will take about 500 hrs.
Then move 3000 cu yds dirt to fill in slopes around house area.
I only have about 4 acres of low sloping areas for pastures etc. the other 16 acres are 20 to 40% grade hills. Some can be reworked most cant without dozer and that is prohibitively expensive.

The ideas and cures you guys do will help me very much as I make guards, etc.
I will ask for specific help when I want to add TNT and side lift cylinder and anything electric.
But right now when Eric mentioned jumping connection to trick the safety seat switch = HOW specifically.

Thank you ALL.
Dan

You can unplug the connector under the seat and install a shot jumper wire. Some guys have even installed a switch inline so they can keep the seat switch operational but if for some reason need to bypass the seat for a time they simply flip the switch and when finished flip it back to normal. On my nx5510 I just removed the two shoulder bolts with springs that held the front of the seat cushion on, and replaced with short full threaded bolts which hold the cushion down keeping the switch bypassed.

Thank you, I did read that and the bolts didn't hurt or interfere with seat or you?
Thanks. I do like the switch idea like when the kids and grandson visit.
