I have a 2016 Kawasaki mule that will not start and the oil lite is blinking, did a little research and the oil pressure switches do go bad and cause a rank no start like I have .
So I ordered a new one and they are different where the wire hooks on the old one hade a spade where the wire hooked on.
The new one has a screw on the end . I called the dealer where I ordered it from and left a message .
So should I change the connection on the machine so it fits order the screw ?

A quick and dirty test would be to put a ring terminal on a scrap of wire and fold the other end over so it goes into the spade terminal, do a test and see if it runs. If it does, change the wire terminal to a ring.

That’s what I was thinking

Does it turn over at all?

I have a 2016 Mule 4010 that would turn over, but would not start. I found that I was not getting power to the injectors. I was about to change the control module, when a mechanic determined that a wire was broken in the wire harness. Instead of taking the harness apart, he added a wire on the outside of the harness, and that worked.

I have since had to re-do the connections he made because they didn't last. I think I have good connections now, because it hasn't happened in a good while.

Check for spark. If none, check any Darwin switches that might be there for blade or seat positions, if they ring out I'd look to see if the oil switch wire has a short to ground somewhere. If you don't have a wiring diagram, you might find one on manualsonline or manualslib, makes it a lot easier chasing things.
If you have spark, that would likely be a fuel issue.

Have you tried putting a gauge inplace of the sensor and making sure engine is producing oil pressure

Some switches are normal open, some are normal closed. Since the terminations are different, i hope he gave you correct switch
