Hey guys,
I was golfing the other day (my favorite hobby) and noticed the grounds guy was using a Kubota for mowing the rough (not sure of the model), what intrigued me was he was using a MMM with a rear discharge but also had a 3 reel gang mower on the 3pt hitch. As I watched him go by a few times it was obvious that this system works great, I could not see any clippings after he went by.
If I had to guess I’d say he was taking the rough down at least 2-3”. For those of you that have a BX2230 with the mulch kit do you get good results with taking that much off? Has anyone tried this application at home?
