does anyone have a manual for this in pdf format or even jpg? i have some exploded parts view but the whole pto unit is missing in the diagram - it has the main unit parts listed and not the shaft info included. - my unit is and has been frozen for a few years now due to many surgeries. and it only has like 3 hrs maybe 4 at most on it. so i am trying to see what i can do before another big service and transpo bill.

sorry for extra info - this works with the max 25 (HST) model.

Ok i sent a few days lubing and pb balstering and breakfreeing the actual pto shaft and the push/pull ring at the end that attaches the shaft to the tractor pto. they WERE frozen! so now i have to try to get the top housing off and see what is underneath and lube all that up and see of i can unfrezze that aspect. The i will have to try to flip it over somehow and see what is happening underneath the actual midmower unit. any comments or information to help me along i would greatly appreciate it very much. after an expensive tractor in the shop this past 2 months i am trying to figure this unit out and fox what i can on my own. Thank you so much everyone.

Here’s a generic manual for the deck, out in the garage I have a hard copy of one that came with my deck, very detailed. I’ll take some pictures of the drive train section tomorrow if I get a chance.

wow!!! THank you again so very much. this will help me a lot. just a stupid question for my next step: the belt covers on top of the deck. are the bolts welded or part of the deck or do they fall through the bottom? - are they all the way through? do you have to be able to access both top and bottom to remove the nuts for the covers?

i hope to tackle this within the next day or so.

Hope these help out. If yours is the same deck, there are 4 bolts per cover, item 7 in the parts diagram you remove and the cover comes off. No need to get under it.
