Mounting Tractor? RIGHT or LEFT

It's along the same lines as why we shake hands or salute with our right hand - it's a mark of respect to the recipient that our right hand is "empty", IE we come bearing no arms.

Unless you're a southpaw like me in which case I'll run you through anyway.

Yeah, but I'd estimate 30% of TBNers are anachronisms...

I mount mine from the side that the briers are not on

Left for me too unless I am already on the right side and have 3-point loaded or if the left side is blocked.

I'll mount from either side whichever is closer, but always dis-mount from the left---it just feels right
