MMM vs RFM

Great explaination. Sounds like I'll be going with a RFM. I can't justify the extra $$ for a MMM that may only slightly increase the ease of cutting. and a very good point that a RFM can be pulled by any brand tractor.
I dont care for the rfm because i don't want to keep removing and installing the BH on the BX23.
nor the tiller on the BX1500.
Guess I could use it on the other BX1500 that I don't keep anything on the 3 point.

I had a 72" rear mower for my 4400. In my opinion, it did a poor job cutting and always left "windrows", even though it was rear discharge. And... before it cut one blade of grass, a total of six tires ran over the lawn...

I replaced it with a 72" MMM and could not be happier. Way better quality cut, and like everyone else said, much easier to get around stuff.

The tip speed on the JD MMM seems to be a lot faster than the 540 RPM pto driven mowers, and I suspect that may be way the MMM mulches to much better.
