Do all of these mower decks spin their grass cutting blades at the same speed?

Do they all use the same Kubota blades?

I am trying to better understand why one option may produce a better finish cut than the others - assuming this is true.

Thanks!

The 54" MMM has a fairly high lift blade. It is meant to be a fine cut finish mower, and it does do that in my opinion.

The longer the blade, the slower the blade RPM simply because if you did not adjust the RPM, the tip speed would be so fast on larger diameter blades that you could approach the speed of sound, something I understand you avoid. Lift has as much to do with the type of soil you have as well as what your trying to do ie., mulch or move the grass out of the deck. A dry sandy soil with a high lift blade will wear the blade out very quickly as well as make a tremendous amount of dust.
