Anyone ever hear of an MGM Eagle Tractor? I googled it and found very little. I am assuming this is a Chinese tractor. Kinda want to get an idea on ease of service, parts, add ons. Found what I think to be a good deal on a 24hp tractor with a rough cut mower and disc. However, a good deal now may not mean squat if I can't fix it when it breaks.

Pretty sure it is a 200 series Jinma, 2 wheel drive.
Probably has the Yangdong engine. Should be on the engine tag.
Parts should not be a problem.

Try googleing just MGM tractors -- place in Texas that sells Jinma and Foton -- either one of those look like the machine you are looking at?

Can't say that I have, but the 2420 suggests it's a rebadged FarmPro 2420. Which is probably a little confusing to the new buyer, because a FarmPro 2420 is a rebadged JM200 (20hp/2wd).
My SWAG is that this MGM outfit gets this particular model from Homier/FarmPro, who got it in the first place from Jinma. MGM may just stick some "Eagle" decals where it would otherwise say FarmPro. Same tractor, different decals. Post the info that's stamped on the engine label - that may reveal you've actually only got 20hp.

I think it is the farm pro. very similar look to others I've seen. I have not acutally seen the tractor in person. It is posted at

Yep, she is a Jinma 20 Hp 2 wheel drive tractor. May or may not have power steering so look at that if you plan on adding a loader. If no power steering you will need arms like Popeye's. That price seems a little high. They sell new for $4000 for the tractor and the implements can be had for under $1,500.

Some did have power steering and some did not so it very well may. Many lie about the power of tractors or just plain got bad info and passed it on.

He may assume the number 24 in on the decal represents horsepower. The engine label will provide the definitive answer. If it says ~14.7KW, that makes it a 20hp tractor. But it's hard to not know the difference between power and manual steering. I enlarged the photos in that advert, and am pretty sure I see a priority valve in both - and a hydraulic steering cylinder in the lower photo
