I just purchased a MF50 with loader and backhoe; the hydraulics on both of them run off of a PTO mounted pump.
The 3pt. hitch lift arms do not work; they do not seem to be connected in any way to the loader/backhoe hydraulics.
Do the 3pt. lift arms run from an internal pump ?
Moving the raise/lower lever does nothing.

Your 3pt Runs Off A "Ferguson" Pump Located In The Belly Of The Rear Trans. Housing, Depending On Hookups You Might Have A Selector Valve Somewhere That Would Direct Oil To Your 3pt & Another Implement, Check Under The Right Front Of The Seat On Top Of The Trans., If There Is A Block With Hoses Coming Out There Should Be A Switch To Activate The 3pt. If Not It Is Possible The Pump Needs A Rebuild, There Is A Pressure Test Port In The Same Location To Test Pump Pressure, I Can't Remember Exact But I Belive Around 2350 PSI.
