Mid-mount mower options exist for a MF 1526, it has or can have a mid-PTO to drive one, etc. You'll have to chase that yourself if you conclude you want/need one. Before you get into that, I will try to clarify a couple of things to help. A finish mower is generally not equipped with anti-scalp rollers in the (left/right) middle of the deck. That is probably why you are seeing turf scalping when mowing over uneven/bumpy terrain with a finish mower. Most (all?) mid-mount mower decks that I have seen DO have middle of the deck rollers that lift the deck up over humps and uneven terrain. So in that context mid-mount mowers will "do better" in avoiding scalping.
However, if your land is so rough/lumpy/humpy/uneven that a Woods finish mower cannot be adjusted to a tall enough cut setting to avoid scalping... then you have issues that are not going to be solved by switching to a mid-mount mower or any other type for that matter. And adding a mid mount mower to your MF 1526 is going to hit you in the pocketbook for significant dollars. Good to learn more about the whole situation before you take the next leap.
