Backhoe MF 750 4wd backhoe

Backhoe wont start, have replaced starter motor, new batterys, etc, been checked over by auto electrician and everything fine. Wants to start but stops straight away.What else could it be?

Two questions. Does it start and run when you have the starter engaged and then die as soon as you let off the key? Is it a gas motor?

No, It only wants to start, then it dies instantly to nothing, so then turn key off again. It is a diesel motor and it was done up around 6 years ago and not had much work.

Have you bled the fuel system? To me it kind of sounds like it's not getting fuel. I'm not sure of the procedure on your particular tractor but the owners manual should have it.

no its not the fuel, it seems that it was the alternator and now fixed the problem 1
