MF 231 tire options

Would like to know if there is a wider front tire option that will fit my MF 231? The tractor has the stock 6.00-16 tires on it now but they tend to cut in around the wet stuff. Does anyone know if there is an option that will give me more float on this tractor? Thanks

A lot of people run truck tires on the front of tractors, find a set of 6 or 8 ply wide and low profile tires. You may need to find wider rims with a deep offset but a Junk Yard could help there, I can't remember the bolt pattern of my massey.

It ain't much, but a 6.5 inch tire will fit that rim. You may want to try a 4 rib tire instead of the factory 3 rib.
