I have a hedge row that is about 250 feet long and it takes me several days every year to trim it with an electric hedge trimmer. I decided to build a man sized hedge trimmer for my Kioti. I went looking for a sickle bar for a Cub and found one. I sand blasted it and painted it then started designing a mount and drive system for it. I bought a hydraulic motor and machined an eccentric flywheel. Well according to the spec sheet the pump will do 7.66 gpm. I knew that before I bought the pump. I wanted to run the motor at around 500 to 600 rpm so the one that I bought would be just about right with the lower gpm system.

Thanks. The reason I ask is I have thought about that very attachment several times. My machine is all hydraulic. I have a hydraulic circuit that I run my brush cutter and mower with that puts out 8GPM@2500psi. Sounds very doable in my situation. Thanks again. :thumbsup:
