Mahindra 2538 tractor weight

Anyone know what a 2016 mahindra 2538 with loader weights,(non loaded tires) looking to move it long distance and trying to figure out the weight, I'm hoping a 20' 7000gvw dovetail trailer will be fine and also have no issue pulling it with a 2017 silverado 5.3, thanks for the help

I would get a 10k or 12k trailer 22 foot deck Whats you truck rated to tow

2017 silverado 5.3, i'd say around 9k to be safe

Trailer is 2000lbs, it's my father in laws truck I'm assuming it's just the standard 5.3 eco tec3 to be safe, I think the truck shoukd be fine either way, I'm more concerned with the trailer, I'm right at the max, and trying not to spend the extra $$ for a 10gvw, trailer, I won't be hauling the tractor much at all,

Looks like you might have had less tongue weight if you'd have turned the tractor around.

Yeah it was a tough call, I was trying to keep weight of tractor over axles, best I could, i was more worried about back tires of truck, but we made 60 mph whole way Charlotte NC to upstate NY,,, I wouldn't want to do again without a 3/4 ton truck
