M5700 Glow plugs?

I feel a little dumb asking this question but I cant figure it out. I just bought a used M5700 from a private seller. currently it starts and runs great but looking ahead to the winter months I need to figure out how to use the glow plugs. I have a couple of older Kubotas but the glow plugs work on a seperate start/glow plug switch. The M5700 only has a key. How do I activate them? Thanks

Either they are one position before start on the key or you turn the key backwards.

Try rotating the key to the left and see if the light lights up. I vary the time I hold it on by how cold it is. Never more than 15 seconds and it starts right up. Thats the way my L4400 works

I have tried turning it to the left but it won't turn. Ill have to pay more attention to see if the light comes on 1 click before ignition.

When you turn the key to run, there should be a glow plug light on your panel light up... It is an automatic system and will Only light for a second (or less) depending on engine temp.
During winter it may light up for 5 to 10 seconds, again depends on engine temp...

I still am having trouble telling where the glow plug indicator is. I'm thinking the timer may be burnt out because I don't even see a light

If you look at the picture you can see the dash lights. I can see a fuel light and pto light and I think the one in the middle is an oil pressure light which is the only light that turns on when I'm starting it.

Ok I've figured it out! The glow plug position is between the "on" and "start" points on the switch. Seems like it works great
