It will work with a 12'' auger gonna take a couple weekends for a 100 posts, With the forks you can load up a bunch of posts Then just take them off as needed. If the auger gets wrapped around tree roots you have to back it out by hand

I figured I would put a post in every 10 T Posts. I figured roughly 40 holes and 4 for the gates. I seen the 12 inch and 15 inch augers at MFA when I got off work today. I will shop around a bit more before I take the plunge.

One other question: Other than the obvious way how can I tell if my tires are air filled or foam filled. The guy a MFA asked and I assumed they were air filled. Is that a valid question or was he confused.

You want liquid filled ( rim guard or windshield washer fluid ) rear tires for ballast

Both. We have had Tennessee Walkers for 30 or so years and never had an incidents. We did have one get cut on a piece of tin that blew off a turn of the century barn when we lived up in the Kansas City area.

I speculate 70% of compact tractor tires are filled with liquid.

Perhaps 25% of compact tractor tires are inflated with air. My Kubota compact tractor tires are inflated with air.

Perhaps 5% of compact tractor tires are filled with solid foam.

An experienced operator can discern the difference between air and liquid/foam filled rear tractor tires in a short period of operation.

For you, take off the cap, press on the center valve stem with a tool ----- and see/hear what comes out. "nothing" = foam

Thanks for the tip on my profile. I updated some of my profile.

I Maybe putting in a 100 posts. as soon as the mud dries up a bit.

Don i would recommend the 6 inch bit for your job if you have a post over 6 inches (maybe a couple) use hand hoe digger to increase size, the Titan forks are not the quality of everything attachments and not as expensive either and they have done the job for me.
I installed a set of remotes on the rear of my tractor and bought a cheap grapple from Ebay ran two 3/8 hoses from the rear remotes to the front of the tractor and operate the open and close of the grapple with my remotes instead of a $900 + 3 function valve (and that price would with me installing it) It cost $120 for everything to hook it up,the grapple is one of the best attachments i have and most useful.
I will probably get flack fo buying cheaper attachments but i dont need attachments that built for commercial use i only need them every now and then.
There is a LS dealer that has u tubes on how to install rear remotes and 3 function valve go to Simple Country Tractor and check out their u tubes
I also use the rear remotes operate a hydraulic cylinder for my top link to be able to adjust my top link on the fly.

I used/abused SSQA pallet forks until I got a grapple. Now I use/abuse the grapple for everything I used the forks for except for moving actual pallet loads. I found a medium duty grapple new at a skid stear attachment outlet place for $900. It’s my go to attachment along with the bucket.

Don The way i have always filled my tractor tires buy a liquid water fill adapter HALTEC Metal Water Adaptor, for Liquid Fill Tires, N-191, Silver | eBay position the valve stem at 9 o団lock remove the valve stem (not the core the whole valve stem) attach the water valve cut apiece hose to screw on the fill adapter attach a funnel to other end of hose and fill with what you are going to use (windshield washer fluid does a good job) then hook water hose up for water fill. i use a quick connection on the fill adapter, as you fill with water the tire will pressure up ( use a floor jack to jack the tire up so fully extended) after it slows down taking water i pinch the water hose off and remove quick connector and let the air build up out, continue doing this until its at 9 o団lock or whatever position you decide.

I agree neverfailyou it is about the handiest attachment i have and stays on my tractor most of the time. I also bought a 48 inch from MTL Attachments because this grapple has grease zerts on all moving parts and cost $890 MTL Attachments Kubota-Kioti Compact Tractor 48 Root Grapple Bucket-Free Ship | eBay
I have had this cheap grapple for over a year using it for everything with no problem.
The 55 inch from everything attachments cost more than double than this grapple and dont have grease zerts.
