So for my tractor the forks need to be Universal skid steer mount and lite correct?
You need SSQA forks matched to the published lifting capacity of your FEL.
My SSQA pallet forks came from everythingattachments.com. If EA shows a lifting capacity of 2, 000 pounds, they claim their forks will withstand a 6,000 pound load before deforming. While the lifting capacity for the forks is a "static" number, the 6,000 pound number would include transient loads, which can spike substantially higher than static loads. (( Other producers may or may not meet EA's standard.))
When first applying lifting force to a near capacity FEL lift, transient force spikes.
When digging under tree roots with pallet forks, something not uncommon, with rear tractor wheels only lightly in ground contact, transient force will spike considerably.
When transporting loads over rough ground, transient forces spike with every bump and hole encountered.
I recommend minimum 2,000 pound rated SSQA pallet forks to you.
