LS MT225S - Chainsaw scabbard

Most of the time you put the scabbard where you can with few choices and lots of trade-offs. I was lucky with my M5640 and had a place behind the FEL tower so it didn't stick out to catch on stuff or obstruct view and wasn't in the way getting on and off the tractor. Plus easy to reach standing on the ground.

I guess if you are going to forget what you have in the belly of your bucket or the jaws of your grapple - better not use that option.

I know it is more work, but everyone has the space on top of the hood for storage. My removable box tends to get filled up with chains and miscellaneous tools. The frame hinges open when it comes time to fuel up.

Wouldn't do that with the Green plastic..😁

It is more important with the green plastic. Keeps anything from hitting the hood.

That said, I went 18 years with this tractor and my homemade steel front protector before I hit a 2" branch just right, so that it punctured the plastic part of my Kioti's grille.

I just made one out of some left over hickory flooring I had. Had to tilt it a bit saw my 25ā€ bar cleared the tire by a good margin.

Great idea using hardwood! Nice work too!

Yes it's q 4" square post cut in half. I had a small chunk left over from a project.
Thanks. Was looking at some I had here and wondering how hard it would be to heat and reshape it..

If it is PVC, it is easy to bend up if you are patient. For conduit, I use a hand torch, but for something that big, consider rigging up a water trough that you can heat up and submerse. Not sure if 212F is warm enough; others here may know.
