Looking For PHP/MySQL Programmer

Greetings,

Over the past year or so, we have received numerous requests for upgraded features to TBN. And we agree that it's time for TBN to get some much-needed upgrades, as well as some entirely new features. This year, we want to take action on these upgrades!

However, as TBN continues to grow in size and scope, the responsibilities of the people who have previously worked on new features has switched more to the maintenance side of things, which makes working on new features very difficult. So it's time to bring in some helping hands!

We are now looking for a skilled PHP/MySQL programmer to work on new features on TractorByNet.com. I figured I would post a message here and see if any existing TBN members would be interested, before going through other channels to hire a non-member programmer.

We are looking for an experienced PHP/MySQL programmer who has a good working knowledge of PHP/MySQL, including:

• Installing scripts
• Modifying existing scripts
• Creating databases
• Programming scripts from scratch

This is of course a paid job that can be done on your time, in your work environment. You will work directly with me and Ibrahim (who has done the majority of the PHP/MySQL work on TBN up to this point) and have input on the features and functionality of the features we design.

Darn, wish I had PHP/MySQL experience. Mine is all Microsoft. This would be a dream job. Tractors and computers together. There couldn't be a better combination.

I love TBN, tractors (especially my Mahindra), Linux, PHP, and MySQL. Plus, I have a little PHP/MySQL experience under my belt. Unfortunately, I just don't think I'd have the time to devote to TBN.

I may send a PM just to get an idea of the time requirements.
