- Getting old. Sold the ranch. Sold the tractors. Moved back to the city.
It would be a #@^%$ to parallel park... Is it 4x4? If it were closer and the price was right I'd be looking at it too.
One of my neighbors somewhere around my place has a similar truck, Ford F-350 or more, 4x4, long bed, but he added a 3'rd row seat and doors. So he has a 6 door!!! It is pretty flipping awesome looking when it blows past on RTE1...
All my kids could have a window seat...

If long bed length is your goal, then you might want to check out my solution to that problem--a 2004 Isuzu NPR stakebed (8 ft W x 14 ft long bed by Supreme).

Added a ladder

10 ft long aluminum ramps rated at 5000 lb each and weigh in at 47 lb

a custom rear fence so I don't have to wrestle with the larger steel units

and an 8000 lb Warn winch with wireless remote

Found this baby last Dec on eBay--2004, 49,500 miles, Chevy 6.0L (360 ci) V-8, auto, air, power windows, 12,000 lb GVWR--$11K. The overall length is about the same as my 2002 F150 short cab, long bed PU.
Use it to haul my parade tractors and for runs to the feed and seed store. Checked the weight on the truck scales with 3/4 tank of gas, road tool kit and me--7100 lb. None of my parade tractors weigh over 3500 lb so no problem with overload. Yes, I have to go through the scales when carrying a load, but I only haul tractors on weekends 5-6 times a year. And there are no scales between my place and the nearest towns (Red Bluff and Chico).
I looked long and hard for a 3/4 or 1T PU gas and diesel and couldn't beat this deal for my uses. Besides, I really like the look of the NPR and have always wanted to own a cab over vehicle.
