Oil & Fuel Lock N Lube

   / Lock N Lube #11
Just received my new locknlube from Amazon the other day. I put it on my Milwaukee grease gun and wow does it work well. I had several pins on my front end loader that would not take grease with just the battery powered gun but when I put the locknlube on it blew right through the old grease and they take grease fine now. The Milwaukee I have produces 8000psi. I couldn't hold the tip on the zerk at that pressure. The Locknlube cured that.

There was a good long thread on the Lock N Lube if anyone needs reading material. I have two, and I am a big fan. It is one of the better mousetraps out there

I bought both a Lock-N-Lube and Univer-Co. The Univer-Co is nearly the same size as a regular gun end and was supposed to be easier to use. Didn稚 turn out that way. Most of the time it was difficult to remove. The Lock-N-Lube can be difficult to remove if a fitting won稚 take grease and my Milwaukee electric pumps up to its rated 10,000 psi.

Those were my results as well. With a power gun I have a free hand to control the coupler. Much quicker, easier and cleaner to not use a locking coupler.

This thread might benefit from some discussion regarding quality couplers and their proper adjustment. You all know they are adjustable right? :)

I bought a couple of them based on the hype. If you have room for them they work. They are somewhat cumbersome. I prefer the a regular grease coupling.

I got one and put it on my Dewalt grease gun. Both work great. And because it is a lot easier with the electric gun, I tend to use it more.

This is me too. Those two gadgets combined make what was a chore painless.

My Lock N Lube cost considerably more than my manual grease gun did...but it is worth it.
I'll 2nd that. Overpriced but worth it. I just got the even more overpriced long XL one to put on my new Dewalt cordless gun. Not sure if the length is of any value over the normal one. Might be a bit easier to grease some PTO U joints. Have the original LnL on a manual gun.

Ive been using locknlube for about 4 years now with an a pneumatic grease gun. It works great, no problems, no mess, no pulled out zerks, and Im happy with it. I would definitely buy it again. All the grease goes into the fitting every time and no blow outs. I did make an extension using an old style fitting and a 45 degree zerk for a couple of tight spots on my zero turn to grease the PTO shaft u-joint spiders.

Yes it costs more but you get what you pay for. The cheapo fittings never last me more than a year.
