Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

Used flails can be a great deal but we haven't heard of ?any new flail buyers who wished they had done something else. Take care of the Caroni and it will serve you well for many years. Get a set of Gates kevlar belts and figure out a blade/clevis replacement strategy. Grease before every mowing and you'll be golden.

Not exactly but pretty sure they are size B43. You'll probably find the part number in this thread if you search for gates belts.

It's a new holland 918H

Since I didn't get an answer so - can an M4700, 42HP PTO, 4,000 lb lift on 3pt, handle something this big?

90" is a bit wide for an M4700 but you have the HP and the lift capability. Although you may need to put some heavy rocks in the bucket to keep the front end down while transporting it over uneven terrain.

Can you mow in South Carolina in mid February? We've got about three to four feet of snow on the ground in New England these days and a wind chill of -15 at the moment.
