When I got the Kubota I looked into a
grapple. There is a manufacturer about 80 mi north - Anbo. Anbo is built like a battleship and has the weight also. The new series - Rancher - is lighter. By the time you have a control button wired into the joystick the entire arrangement gets pretty $$$. Somehow I managed to hold off on the
grapple and am working on getting a rotary cutter. However, as of yet no cutter either.
It's hard to spend the money at first, but I've always said that I'd rather have a lesser tractor WITH
grapple than the nicest most amazing dream tractor in the world without.
I guess I'm a little backwards from most people, I tend to spend the money on the implements that do the work better, more efficiently, and more fun, rather than spend it all on a tractor with less (or less quality) implements.
Depending on your uses, I'd seriously consider holding off on the cutter and spending the money on a
grapple
I haven't seen the lighter, newer Anbo
grapple but I'm willing to bet its a lot heavier duty than you can use. Take a good look at the new
Everything Attachments grapple, it's a lot of implement at a good price. Normally I think they're stuff is rather light duty but it seems like they nailed it with the new
grapple. I have a WR Long and love it, it's the best purchase I've ever made. However, if I were in the market for a new one I'd look really hard at
EA!
For rear implements, you want the heaviest you can get, but not so for FEL attachments.
