Looks like Landpride is getting in on the grapple craze!

Grapples | Land Pride

Unfortunately, they seem way overbuilt for us CUT users  I really like Landpride implements and was hoping for a light duty model.

It seems like their more geared for skid steers with much higher lift capacities.

What is the weight?

Will those grapples easily hook to a JD FEL and work well?
Anyone know the approximate cost of say 5 or 6 footer?
Looks like they could be very helpful.

I'm surprised I missed that thread!

I didn't realize they've been out that long. I check they're website on a fairly regular basis and have never seen them on their before. I can't imagine you ever being able to hurt that thing. It sure is heavy!

How does it work for rootraking? Can you rip through the topsoil with it or do you run out of traction? The good thing is, if you ever upgrade to a larger tractor you certainly won't need to upgrade your grapple :D

It's great for root raking, but I haven't really put to task very hard yet.. I've got a lot of boundary areas I'm cleaning up this Fall so I'll know better then.. It's heavy, but I wanted something I wouldn't wreck and you're right, I don't see hurting it..

When I got the Kubota I looked into a grapple. There is a manufacturer about 80 mi north - Anbo. Anbo is built like a battleship and has the weight also. The new series - Rancher - is lighter. By the time you have a control button wired into the joystick the entire arrangement gets pretty $$$. Somehow I managed to hold off on the grapple and am working on getting a rotary cutter. However, as of yet no cutter either.

It's hard to spend the money at first, but I've always said that I'd rather have a lesser tractor WITH grapple than the nicest most amazing dream tractor in the world without.
I guess I'm a little backwards from most people, I tend to spend the money on the implements that do the work better, more efficiently, and more fun, rather than spend it all on a tractor with less (or less quality) implements.

Depending on your uses, I'd seriously consider holding off on the cutter and spending the money on a grapple :)

I haven't seen the lighter, newer Anbo grapple but I'm willing to bet its a lot heavier duty than you can use. Take a good look at the new Everything Attachments grapple, it's a lot of implement at a good price. Normally I think they're stuff is rather light duty but it seems like they nailed it with the new grapple. I have a WR Long and love it, it's the best purchase I've ever made. However, if I were in the market for a new one I'd look really hard at EA!

For rear implements, you want the heaviest you can get, but not so for FEL attachments.
