PS -- The mower / bush hog shown in your picture doesn't need hydraulics. If you are going to use a folding batwing, etc. you might need something. The blade in the other pic needs only one. Right???

Unless you plan to add the top and tilt equipment, you'll be fine with two sets.

I can probably do without "tilt" for my rotary, but the "top" is indispensable IMO. Being able to back to a bank (like when you're on top of a dam and mowing the side) and gradually lower the mower, etc.

"Tilt" is good for blades (though probably not in snow use?) & augers; for those who are using a tractor in part because of physical limitations and not purely for time efficiency, the more help the better.

I've also had to change the exhaust manifold gasket twice and it's out again now for the third time.

Just to update everyone on this issue, I ordered all the gaskets and got the tractor in the shop to find out it was not the manifold gasket. It was a small rubber tube about 2.5" long that connects a metal tube from a breather on top of the valve cover to another metal tube that goes to something else. I was able to find a replacement tube at a local parts store. None of the online Kubota sellers had this little tube in stock.

Oil vapor seperator (top of valve cover), on my M's at least that hose connects to a tube that goes down the side of the block and exits under the motor.

Don't have a clue about the newest T4-5 compliant tracrors, if the employ crankcase blowby consumption (back into the intake stream) or not. Do they? I don't know. I know that automotive related engines do (aka: EGR) but tractors, I have no idea about. Even my old 1997 7.3 diesel had it, but I removed it and added a 'road draft tube'. The only reason I did that was because When Navistar built the engine, they introduced the blowby vapor in front of the turbocharger intake stream and the introduction of blowby vapor in front of the turbo can and will cause the impeller wheel in the turbo to carbon up. Eliminating that vapor eliminates the potential carbon issue, consequently, I now have a road draft tube. Was easy to do as the engine has the vapor seperator on the drivers side valve cover so adding the appropriate venting was very easy and straightforward.

Always been my philosophy that the 'less junk in the trunk' equals less junk in the combustion chamber.

Another update. I went pick up the tractor, and when I got home, I could still hear the sound of a busted gasket. More investigation revealed that the exhaust manifold gasket is indeed still busted. I loaded it back up and returned it to the shop for them to replace the gasket. I did have to order another gasket that will also need to be replaced. I should get that by Wednesday.

Nice looking package there! I didn't think you got Def until 75HP but it will certainly have DPF and still an emissions tractor (not that it matters to you). The Hydraulics on the rear and the 3rd function are very nice features to have. I may like that pre-emissions Kubota a little better though.

Ya, 4 years old and like new. All the hydraulic connections we need. HD hydraulic snowplow included and rear facing blower. (forward would be so, so much better) Loader was switched to use standard attachments.

An offer of $7k must be a serious low baller. It looks like you have lots of choices. That JD 4320 might be a buy, it has some hours on it but it sure looks clean.
