Price Check L3010 Pricing

My father-in-law in Missouri just called me about a tractor he is looking at. It is a demo model with 6 hours on it and he has been quoted $19,800 for the L3010HST with R4 tires and a 5' Rhino cutter. Also a loader.

I told him this sounds high to me. Looking back at the archives it appears $17,400 to $17,500 seems to be what people have been paying for the tractor and loader, absolutely NEW. I called him and told him I thought it was too high by about $1500 or so, so he is going to do some more negotiating. I told him its no big deal but 6 hours is 6 hours - its not new. He has no way to know if it was run properly for break-in.

Was this good advice.

Alan L.: When I was looking at tractors at the end of 2000 I priced several 3010's with loader and R4's. The priced ranged from $17,500-18,000. I'm not sure of the cost of the mower.

Alan,This past Sundays Kansas City Star had a L3010,HST,160 hrs. and 84" rear finish mower,$14,000 for the pair.Might be worth your father-in-law looking into.

$14000 for the pair L 3010 hst + 84" f. mwr w/low hrs is an excellent value. Someone will probably jump on that quickly.
