Kubota M 9540 problem

After working my Kubota M9540 an hour or so, it sounds like something internally is out of balance....like a rod knocking but it is coming from the transmission area. It has a manual shuttle shift transmission and sometimes is hard to shift from forward to reverse and vice versa. Sometimes I have to rock the tractor back and forth with the clutch to get it to shift. Any ideas or suggestions?

If your tractor has a Lot of hours, the shifter forks could be worn to the point they do not fully engage & disengage...
If it has lower hours, I would suspect a bent fork... KennyV
