I just recently purchased a F3060 to replace my aging F2100. After 12 years of cutting with an old F-series, I just couldn't see any other type of machine fitting the bill.
I came across this machine, and was a little hesitant given it only has a 60" deck, but it's relatively low hours (2100) and obviously has been cared for. There aren't many used ones out there that haven't been ridden hard and put away wet.
I was originally very excited to get a grass collector, as that's something I've always wanted. I have to get out the rake after almost every mowing, and this is going to make fall cleanup much faster. But man, it's a monstrosity. My F2100 feels like a lithe little dancer compared to this thing. Couple with the ROPs, it's much more cumbersome to maneuver around my many obstacles, and the ditches I was mowing are a no-go with that collector sitting up high.
Does anyone have a manual for a GC-F30H collector? I'm hoping that there's instructions for relatively quick mounting/dismounting, but looking at it, I can't see how it could be quick in any way. I'm also just not sure how I'll lift it off without a loader or gantry.
Anyone have any experiences with these?
