Kubota Bx23 loader

We got a Bx23 with loader and backhoe from a relative and I can not get the front bucket to dump. It will raise and lower but not tilt.
Any help

Check your hydraulic quick disconnects on the hoses for the loader. Sometimes they might not seat right and they do go bad from time to time.

You've likely got a quick connect coupling that isn't seated. Disconnect and reconnect and that will probably fix it.

yup, I'd disconnect and reconnect all 4 lines.

Not to offend, but are the color's matched between the lines and the base hookups?

Also does it tilt up and not down>(not lift)..Think we need some more info as to it's performance.

Thanks for info,
It worked fine last fall and then parked for the winter and now it raises and lowers but will not tilt either way. I thought when I ran it once before that there was a flow valve or something that I had to turn to get it to tilt.

coupler could also be connected, but failed internally.

First off, have you taken all the quick connects off and reconnected them? I know it worked when you parked it, but try it anyway. Sometimes they look conncected but aren't, its happened to me.

Try switching ends from the dump to the tilt. This will help to find where the problem is. Seeing if a hose becomes tense will also help find the culprit.

Could be wrong, but with a mower and the FEL & BH I think its's around 3000#

The tractor is around 1400, mower is around 250, bh is at least 600 and the FEL is probably 300 or more. It's heavier than it looks that's for sure.
