Hello
I'm new to TNB but have been reading posts for a month now. I'm trying to decide what tractor to buy. I have 2.5 acres. I plan to mow, power thatch and rake my matted pastures, move dirt, rocks, hay bales and horse feed. Anything to heavy for me to carry. I got talked out of a backhoe model BX 23 or 24. I can rent a lot of excavator time for the cost of a BH. I'd prefer to buy used as new costs are a bit high for me right now. I've been looking at a new 7510, but have found a well maintained 7300 with 180 hours on it for $7,500 with loader and tool bar, no attachments. I'm wondering if this will be powerful enough for my general needs. I've never owned a tractor of any size. Anyone familiar with the 7300?? Any thoughts/suggestions on this???
Thanks.... happyrider

I agree with Ron; sounds like a pretty good deal. If you're new to tractors, just remember that it's very easy to turn one over, especially with a front end loader.
