Kubota 2660 Engine RPM's

Hello everyone. I am new here so I apologize if I posted this in the wrong thread....

But I just bought a new 2660, FEL and 60' deck. My questions are..... what is the normal idle speed for this tractor? Mine idles at approx 1350 rpm. Also, what is the maximum rpm? I know the maximum rated rpm in the owners manual says 3200 but mine will rev all the way to 3450 at WOT. Is this ok?

The manual on my machine specifically states not to run WOT for the first 50 hours, so keep that in mind. I have been keeping mine at about 2900 when working and it does not bog, and will run it that way until broken in.

I have revved mine to over 3300 for a second in neutral, but in gear at WOT it runs at 3200. I wouldnt worry a whole lot about it now because you should not be at WOT anyways, but it would be worth a call to your dealer to make sure the governor or fuel pump is not slightly out of adjustment
