KL130 loader fix released.

couple things, firstly welding is not going to work as the tube does not go thro the arms, this and the fact twisting in the tube causes the cracks, there are lots that did not crack, anyone ever measured the thickness of the tube, maybe they used different thicknesses of tube and plate, the fix to me bolts over but it looks like there are then clamp screws that compress the torq tube and this is how they are getting it ridgid, I assume this tightness is what the dealer is required for, too loose and it seems no rigidity is added, I assume also if too tight it causes additional stress in the original tube, secondly anyone with the 120 fix check the tightness of the bolts when done and after many hours of use, I wonder if they come loose

The 'repair kit' was installed on my CK30 when I first looked at it in December, the loader still seems to have a bunch of flexing between the arms. Next trip to Maine I am thinking I will have to check the clamping bolts and see if they are still tight. There are locking nuts on them... I wonder if they were tightened properly in the first place?? Is there anyway to get the install instructions to check bolt torques and such? I wonder if I will get a letter... even though I already have the kit installed??

I already think this mystery fix they dont describe is a bandaid.
If changing the design of the arms to a tube was necessary in production I believe the rest of us are just getting some salve to shut us up and burden ourselves for the transportation costs.
The infamous letter doesn't even detail what they want to do...just blindly load your tractor up like sheep-le and do what they say....baaahhhhh.
Kioti should bone up and throw the rest of us the good arms.
Just my opinion after considering a 200 mile postage paid round trip to the nearest dealer- of which I have no confidence in already based on previous dealings.

I got two identical letters, the same day, even though I don't need the "repair kit". First feedback I've ever gotten that they even know who I am, despite several letters and emails.

I've got to believe that the cost of new loader arms is not that much more than the cost of the "repair kits", especially when one considers time to design and test at least 2 different kits. I'd really like to know how they reasoned that one out. Kioti has just handled this so very poorly.

Good luck to those needing/getting the kits. I sure hope it works  .

I intend to just take the loader arms to the dealer. I'll remove the loader then with the help of my neighbor's loader, we will remove the bucket. the arms will fit into my pick-um-up easily. A little more work, but a lot less gas.

Good idea. Those arms will even fit in a mini-van.

Exactly how many repair kits are there for the KL130? I'm guessing at least 2....I wonder if it is cheaper for the dealer to bring both kits out to my tractor than to load the tractor and bring it to the dealer? I'll have to give them a call to see how much they charge for a house call.

Mine would do it for free if I needed it, however if they are going to charge too much, you may ask to take them both and return the one you dont need.

That might be an option for those that are planning (or allowed) to install on their own at least.

It is my understanding that there are 2 kits.... and 4 different cross tubes on this unit.

Well, after emailing Kioti Customer Service, I received a response a month
later. Despite being eligible for THREE loader retrofit kits, they will not
send them to me. I must go to a dealer. I think if Kioti had a bit better
coverage (like JD or Kubota), they might have an argument. But this
response is weak at best. No way am I driving 100+ miles to a dealer I
never dealt with.
