On the side, I rebuild loader buckets as well as excavator buckets and I've seen (and repaired some ugly ones). Anything is possible when the abuse is serious. Just did one where the back sheet was ripped. Had a nice smile in it too. Smiles are the most difficult to fix as you have to cut both side (vertical sheets away from the bottom sheet) to allow the bottom sheet to revert back to it's original form., then reweld the sides to the bottom. It's never a cheap date either. My shop rate is $130 bucks an hour based on actual repair time, consumables not included.
